In and Out, In and Out

Drew LOVES going in and out doors now that he is tall enough to reach the handle. He thinks it's pretty fantastic to be so independent and powerful. This picture just shows his delight in closing me in while he plays outside. Hmmm...not sure what that is going to mean in the future.

Monumental Day

It was a monumental day at the James house. Both babies spent some QT with daddy when they got up from their morning naps. Then Maggie was able to enjoy life without being held for the first time in the 12 weeks she's been on this earth. She spent about 10 minutes looking at the toy her Aunt Lana gave her big brother last year which gave me time to get Drew fed. Hopefully this is the begining of a trend - Maggie being satisfied.
Another monumental occurance: Drew ate some "real" food. He's almost 16 months and really doesn't eat much more than baby food in a jar, in fact, he doesn't really even like to touch food. However, today he decided Nutri Grain waffles were pretty good. Finally!

'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving...and we went to visit Santa!

Maggie had a good time telling Santa everything on her wish list. Howver, her stocking may have a few lumps of coal in it if she doesn't start sleeping through the night and taking good long naps.

Drew's was not too sure he wanted to be on Santa's lap. He wanted to climb the stairs behind Santa and was rather put out that we put him on this guy-in-a-red-suit's lap and wanted him to smile.

Maggie Smiles

Maggie is becoming more alert and smiling at us. It is so fun when they finally "wake up"! She was 10 lbs. 6 oz. at her two month appointment yesterday. Pretty good gain since she started at 5lbs. 15 oz.

Drew likes chocolate

My mom made about a million chocolate Razorbacks for Garrett's rehearsal dinner and we had some left over. Drew, although a VERY picky eater, discovered chocolate is pretty good. :)

Woo Pig Sooie!

#5 also likes hanging out with Daddy before the game.
D-Mac hits the open road in his fancy Altima.

Darren McFadden spends a little alone time with his teddy before the game against South Carolina.

Happy Halloween

I wasn't a creative mommy this year and dress up the kids for Halloween. (Next year, we'll blow it out!) However, we did go to Pinnacle on October 31 for a little outing. I just love this cool, sunny weather and so does Drew. Of course, Maggie slept in her carseat.

Pumpkin Patch

We recently took a trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Drew had a blast running in the fields. He was actually more interested in the sprinkler system and rocks than pumpkins.

Drew in the daffodils.

We took Drew to see the daffodils at Wye Mountain at the end of March. He was more interested eating the flowers than posing for pictures but we got a few good ones.

Rub a Dub Dub

After months of hating bath time, Drew is finally enjoying his time in the tub. In fact, some days that is where he has the most fun.

Drew is on the move!

Drew is now able to get where he wants to go. His movements are still limited but he loves the freedom to hop and scoot to new place and things.

Enjoying a little time in front of Praise Baby.

Exersaucer time

We went to visit Granddaddy Thompson in Monroe and Drew enjoyed showing off in his exersaucer.
